As the crowning achievement of an unforgettable career, in 2016 Silvio Jermann was given the award in Rome by a jury of international journalists, chaired by Gambero Rosso, of the most representative producer of white wines in the world. Born in 1987 and dedicated by Silvio Jermann to U2's album The Joshua Tree, released in the same year, it has established itself as one of the most important Chardonnays in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, but also one of the iconic white wines of our national panorama. The versatility of its label is fascinating, changed several times over the years, which recalls the colours of the iris. But the real charm lies in the glass, where the shimmering yellow is pure crystal. On the nose it is of rare complexity, with a perfect balance of exotic scents, melted butter, vanilla and pastry. Everything is confirmed on the palate, where freshness and length remain unforgettable. The passage of almost a year in barriques is handled with wisdom, giving Where the Dreams hints of Burgundy. A bottle that can wash down any important occasion, pairing perfectly with fish, shellfish, white meats and vegetables or moderately mature cheeses.
