TASTING NOTES

Venezia Giulia Vespa Bianco is a Friulian white wine from Bastianich, obtained from a careful selection and blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon grapes. The two varieties are fermented separately for 50% in steel and 50% in oak barrels. At the end of fermentation begins a long period of alternating bâtonnage by racking, after which it is assembled and bottled. It ages further in bottle for more than a year. The Vespa Bianco has a deep straw yellow colour with golden reflections, while the nose shows notes of apricot under spirit, flowers and honey. Great minerality and softness on the palate, a wine of great elegance and finesse. To try during an aperitif with friends and highly recommended pairing with white meat or vegetables in batter. To fully appreciate its style, the Vespa Bianco must be served at a service temperature of 8/10 ºC. Read more Read less
