Production

La Giuva is a young winery whose name is an acronym of the names of the sisters Giulia and Valentina, who courageously decided to embark on a career in viticulture. Although it does not boast a long-standing tradition, the winery produces high-quality wines that are well worth discovering. Alberto Malesani has named his Valpolicella Superiore ‘Il Rientro’, a football term used in training and matches to ensure the whole team remains united and harmonious. Just like this wine, the result of harmonious teamwork, capable of surprising. In ‘Rientro’ one reads ‘Rito’ (ritual) because this wine is produced only by following a precise and meticulous ritual. Il Rientro Valpolicella Superiore is made from 50% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 20% Corvinone and 5% Oseleta and Croatina grapes. An expression of unique freshness, open to the typical characteristics of a light drying process, with aromatic notes of spices possessing a subtle sweetness that, on the finish, recall liquorice and conclude the tasting by lingering, as only great wines do. Ageing takes place in second-use oak for 12 months. 100 ml: E=344 kJ/83 kcal

THE WINERY

La Giuva

The winery has always used traditional techniques with full respect for the land and region. Over time, it managed to integrate local history with the most modern studies for an organic and sustainable viticulture that was able to give the end result all the character of the Veneto, to enhance it and have it detected in every glass.
