TASTING NOTES

Protagonist of the history of Fumane and Valpolicella Classica, the Allegrini family has always been committed to become the guardian of the territories in which it operates, of culture and traditions. Thanks to important innovations in the wine and wine sector, with an eye always oriented to the history of vine and wine, Allegrini succeeds bottle after bottle, year after year, to enhance its 150 hectares of vineyards that give birth to unique and prestigious wines, result of the refined farm style and the harvest of the grapes that grow exclusively in the family lands. Allegrini’s Valpolicella Classico DOC is a Veneto red wine produced with Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and then aged in steel. To the eye it is ruby red that presents to the nose fragrant notes of small red berries and spices, pepper in particular. In the mouth it is juicy, dynamic with hints of aromatic herbs. A perfect wine for every occasion, to try with a good platter of cold cuts. To fully appreciate the style, this Valpolicella must be served at a service temperature of 13/14 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Allegrini

Allegrini is the leading producer of Valpolicella Classica, and is one of the most award-winning and recognised Italian wineries in the world. Owned by the Allegrini family, settled in Valpolicella since the 16th century, the company has over 100 hectares of vineyards on the hills of the Classica area. While maintaining its family-run production rooted in tradition, it is also open to innovation and very attentive to respect for the environment. Barriques are used alongside large traditional barrels, and research into the best timing for the grapes results in a final product where the raw material expresses the best of itself. You can enjoy some of the best Veneto wines around with the guarantee of a quality product where tradition and innovation come together to create a unique taste. Allegrini products are made exclusively with the grapes grown in the vineyards owned by the family, cultivated and cared for with full respect for the land and traditions. Name and address of producer/distributor: Allegrini - Via Giare 9/11 - 37022 Fumane VR. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
