TASTING NOTES

The Brut Cuvée dei Frati Classic Method was created to measure Turbiana, an autochthonous Garda grape, with the national sparkling wine tradition and therefore with the Classic Method. To Turbiana 10% of Chardonnay is added and during the vinification in steel tanks malolactic fermentation is avoided. After the draw the wine remains in the bottle for the second fermentation, at least two years in contact with yeast. The spumante of Ca' dei Frati is a versatile and fragrant Classic Method, with scents of warm bread and yellow fruit, hazelnut and a drizzle of sweet tobacco. The mouthfeel is fresh, light and accompanied by a fine and silky perlage. Perfect aperitif with finger food based on fish, on a cesar salad or, why not, with a mortadella sandwich. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 10/12 ºC.
