The Pico Maccario winery is situated in Piedmont, amongst the hills of Monferrato: a dynamic estate that interprets the region’s grape varieties with a modern and distinctive style. Piemonte Rosato Lavignone is made primarily from Barbera grapes, grown in the winery’s own vineyards and vinified with care to express freshness and fragrance. Pale pink and brilliant in the glass, the nose reveals fresh and delicate aromas with notes of strawberry, cherry, pomegranate and light floral hints. It impresses with its immediacy and aromatic appeal. Pico Maccario’s Piemonte Rosato Lavignone is fresh and smooth on the palate, with good acidity and a balanced, thirst-quenching mouthfeel. The finish is clean and fruity, with delicate hints of small red berries.
Ideal for aperitifs and social occasions, it pairs perfectly with light starters, delicate cured meats, summer dishes, salads and fish-based dishes. Also excellent with pizza and Mediterranean cuisine.
