A fine, sparkling ruby red colour. The nose offers a riot of fruity aromas of black cherry, plum, currant, blueberry and raspberry. A floral complexity of excellent substance. THE WINERY

San Salvatore

The name of the winery derives from the acronym of the locality chosen by Carlo Franchetti (cousin and for years right-hand man of Andrea Franchetti the visionary of the Etna wine districts), San Casciano dei Bagni in the extreme south of the province of Siena a few kilometres from Lake Bolsena and the border between Lazio and Umbria. Incredible work in the vineyard and in the selection of the Pinot Noir clones best suited to the soil and climatic conditions allowed Carlo to create a small oenological masterpiece focused on Pinot Noir. Name and address of producer/distributor: Tenuta di Trinoro via Val d'Orcia, 15, 53047 Sarteano (SI). Products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
