TASTING NOTES

Production

Lugana Molin owes its name to the fact that the vineyard from which the grapes used for its production come is located in a very close to the winery.

The glass has an intense and luminous straw yellow color, the nose offers fruity sensations of pineapple and fresh almond, and intense floral flavors. THE WINERY

Ca' Maiol

The history of Ca' Maiol has always been linked to Lugana, thanks to the far-sightedness and love of new challenges of Walter Contato from Milan, who founded his winery on the southern shores of Lake Garda in 1967, where the Turbiana vines have always reached their highest expression. In 1996 the company passed into the hands of his sons. In the heart of Lugana, amidst lively vineyards and ancient farmsteads, lies Ca' Maiol. The building, dating back to 1710, is the nerve centre of the winery's activities. In the large underground wine cellar, visitors can enter the heart of production, discover its secrets, follow the slow and meticulous processes step by step that lead from the grape to the wine. For some years now, the company has been part of the Santa Margherita group, which oversees production and marketing. Name and address of producer/distributor: Ca' Maiol - Via Ita Marzotto 8, 30025 Fossalta di Portogruaro (VE). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
