The winery was founded in 1986 in La Morra, a small town in the heart of the Langhe, always known for its prestigious vineyards some of which bear the same name written in the municipal books from 1350. Roberto Voerzio never intervenes on his wine and lets nature bring it to completion. In fact fermentations are always spontaneous and the hand of man must never change what the earth has given: in the cellar there must be only order and wine. The aging is 24 months in large barrels and barriques of second pass, to mature another 8 months in steel and 8 months in bottle. Baroo Brunate is a garnet red to the glass, wrapped in fine ruby red notes. Ethereal to the nose, overripe fruit and compote of plums, dried strawberry, dry tobacco ash, never aggressive. The palate reveals the most structured sensations, it is full and full of character, with enveloping tannins, never out of place and in progression. A wine that knows not to forget the time that is spent in his presence. Barolo Brunate is excellent with eggs with truffles, lamb steaks in a pan, braised veal with Barolo, Castelmagno cheese. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 18/20 ºC.
