Production

Barbaresco Karmico is a Piedmontese red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, which are grown in the municipality of Treiso, one of the three towns (along with Neive and Barbaresco) that make up the Barbaresco DOCG denomination. After a very selective harvest, the grapes undergo destemming and crushing, followed by both maceration and fermentation in oak vats. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 24 months in large oak barrels.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, it shows a beautiful garnet red color with brick-colored reflections. The aroma is intense and elegant, ranging from dry rose to fruity notes, with a spicy finish and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is warm, full-bodied, and well-balanced, with a slightly spicy finish.

Occasion and Pairing

An excellent wine for Sunday lunch, it pairs perfectly with braised red meats or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 18-20°C.
