From fine dining to the world of wine, a path characterized by great courage. In 1974 Valentino Migliorini, owner and advocate together with his wife of a starred restaurant, decided to buy a farmhouse in the Langhe, in Monforte d'Alba. Drawing on his experience in viticulture and his innate ability to travel the times, Valentino in 1976 created the first wine in Langhe’s blend: Bricco Manzoni, a blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera. Migliorini was the first to bring the small oak barrels to the Langhe, which were used for the vinification of Barolo Reserves. The experimentation and attention to detail, led the company to establish itself as a great interpreter of Piedmont red wines opening the way to the production of sparkling wine Classic Method Alta Langa. In Manzoni, the winery has a complex structured on several premises in a hilly landscape unique in 50 hectares of vineyards located within the municipality of Monforte. The production philosophy includes the desire to intervene as little as possible in the processes in the cellar, without sacrificing a style of its own. Name and address producer/distributor: Podere Rocche dei Manzoni - Località Manzoni Soprani, 3 - 12065 Monforte d'Alba (CN). The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
