The vines stand on clay-limestone soil, alternating between sandier areas and others with emerging rock. These, combined with the mild climate typical of Salento, have made this area one of the most fertile and suitable for crops of all kinds. The microclimate of the Adriatic coast gives the grapes an exceptional quality, which can be found in the final product.
