Mettola

Mettola is a company owned by two families: Mettola and Bera. The company’s idea is to produce healthy wines: without the massive use of pesticides, a practice so widespread in viticulture and of high quality, respecting consumers, the territory and tradition. The Bera family has resisted the siren songs of industrialization, keeping its sustenance from the vineyard, then as today. The Mèttola family has instead seen some scions archive the peasant life for a more comfortable town. But the generation of Bera and Mèttola that currently has the governance of the company has more than ever the will to believe in a healthy and respectful viticulture and vinification of the territory. The company is located at the exact junction between the Langa del Barbaresco DOCG and the Moscato d'Asti DOCG, between the municipalities of Treiso (known for the famous restaurant La Ciau del Tornavento) and Trezzo Tinella, between Alba and Neive.
