Le Marchesine

Since its foundation, Cantina Le Marchesine has succeeded in establishing itself as an important entity in Lombardy. The most innovative techniques, skilfully combined with the most traditional knowledge and great care for the region, contribute to a high-quality production, rich in character, capable of telling the unique story of the Lombardy lands in every glass. This small and innovative company in Franciacorta today represents an important reference point for the creation of high-quality Lombardy wines. In the almost fifty hectares of vineyards, registered in the DOC and DOCG registers, most of the vines are Guyot-trained with over four thousand vines per hectare. The rest, however, to a lesser extent, is cultivated in Sylvoz. The abandonment of the pergola system and the adoption of more innovative systems allow it to work in full respect of the land, in order to enhance its unique characteristics.
