The Barboglio De Gaioncelli winery was established in the building of the same name in 1875 and, since then, has been a point of reference for the production of Lombardy wines that tell the story of the terroir. Tradition is the real workhorse of local production, which still follows the Franciacorta regulations and guidelines for producing wines, such as manual harvesting in crates of a maximum of 16 kilos, minimum ageing in bottles, and the use of certain grape varieties. These include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. Within these strict regulations, the winery has managed to strike the right balance with modern innovations and techniques, skilfully using its knowledge of the vineyard and its soil. In every glass, the Barboglio winery expresses its production philosophy: elegance, freshness and character alternate to tell a story that is both ancient and yet projected into the future. Name and address of producer/distributor: Barboglio - Via Nazario Sauro, 15, 25040 Corte Franc (BS). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
