Curtefranca Rosso Corte del Lupo was vinified for the first time with the 1975 harvest. These two terms are told by the new label that contains the essence of the terroir and the viticultural quality of Ca' del Bosco. Corte del Lupo Rosso is made from 52% Merlot grapes, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 12% Carménère. The presence of Cabernet ensures strength, essential to give balance and longevity. After a careful selection of the grapes, coded and cooled in cold rooms, each bunch is selected by experts, to then benefit from the exclusive spa of the bunch, a system of washing the bunches through soaking tanks and a system for complete drying. This is followed by maceration on the skins, alcoholic fermentation and frequent pumping over by gravity. Thus was born the Corte del Lupo Rosso, which continues its aging in wood and steel for about 24 months. Afterwards, the wine is bottled by gravity, in a natural way. Rosso Corte del Lupo is presented to the glass with a deep ruby red color and aromas of blackberries, black cherry and aromatic herbs with vanilla background. Rich and enveloping, balanced and with integrated tannins. The perfect match with game meat, lamb, grilled red meats and mature cheeses. To fully appreciate its style, this Rosso di Franciacorta must be served at a service temperature of 16/18 ºC.
