Frescobaldi is one of the most renowned historic wineries in Italian and across the world, a keystone of the past and present wine-growing tradition of Tuscany. Toscana Tenuta Luce is an icon of the estate, a Supertuscan with great richness and energy, of the highest quality resulting from the collaboration between Frescobaldi and the famous Napa Valley winemaker, Robert Mondavi. The result is a deep, elegant wine with structure from Sangiovese and Merlot grapes left to mature in barriques for 24 months. Luce is a wine from the territory of Montalcino, on the estate of the same name, Tenuta Luce, where the vineyards grow on the hillsides under very favourable and precious climatic conditions. It has great expressive strength and a bold, robust, full-bodied personality, with great depth and amazing elegance. With a deep, bright ruby colour, it seduces with its broad aromatic profile, with fragrances ranging from floral and fruit notes to hints of balsamic and undergrowth, on an intriguing combination of spicy nuances.
