TASTING NOTES

Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut Decà is a light, intriguing and never demanding wine, produced with the Charmat Method, based on the refermentation in autoclave, where yeast, transforming the sugar of wine into alcohol and carbon dioxide, give life to a simple and refined sparkling wine, with an exuberant perlage. Son of 100% Glera grape, Decà is a Prosecco with a pale straw yellow color with the typical aromas of pear and delicate floral flavors. From the lively bubbles, the sip is pleasant and well calibrated in softness thanks to the low brut dosage. Ideal at aperitif time or to accompany light dishes.  To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 10/12 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Canel

Founded in 1897 in the heart of Valdobbiadene, a hilly area rich in minerals and known today as the home of the famous Prosecco, the Canel winery has grown and made a name for itself thanks to the quality of its wines. The family-run business has evolved over the years by expanding and improving production methods. The 'Champenoise' method, which involved letting the prosecco rest in the bottle, was gradually replaced by the Charmat method, based on a second fermentation in pressure tanks, a phase in which the added yeasts transform the wine's sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide, leading to perlage, the so-called bubbles. Canel's passion for wine-growing and love for the land and its products can be found in the excellence of their wines, increasingly sought-after labels based on a family tradition devoted to the production of Prosecco, one of the best-known and most appreciated wines of the Veneto region, permanently associated with its chosen area, Valdobbiadene. Name and address of producer/distributor: Canel - Via Roma, 131, 31020 Villorba TV. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
