TASTING NOTES

In the Brunello area, at Tenuta Luce, Sangiovese was born for Luce Brunello, the tribute to this excellent wine born in Montalcino in the second half of the nineteenth century. Luce Brunello di Montalcino thus continues a path of very high quality inspired by the uniqueness of the territory of origin and the great wines that are born in this land. The Luce Brunello is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, which are fermented in steel, macerated on the skins for 4 weeks and aged in barriques for 90% first pass and 10% new. The wine is aged for at least 24 months. With a beautiful ruby red and vermilion reflections, this Brunello welcomes with notes of Kirsch and spicy hints with the first balsamic and complex nuances. In the mouth the wine shows strength and substance but without excesses and is already soft, revealing at the same time a discreet freshness supported by menthol notes. Perfect with red meat roasts or mixed grills. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC. Read more Read less
