Farina is a company that was founded in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region, a land where wine-making has been a mainstay since time immemorial. Thanks to a passion for wine, the Farina family's heritage, sustainable viticulture and modern technology, today Alessandro, Claudio and Elena produce wines that fully interpret the strength of the land and tradition. The Nodo d'Amore wine, an expression of the new IGT Trevenezie designation, is a testimony to the winery's forward-looking outlook. A new label, an interpreter of the territory and produced from Corvina grapes, indigenous par excellence in this area, together with Merlot and Teroldego grapes left to dry slightly and then aged partly in small barriques and partly in large barrels. Careful research into the grape varieties and the use of innovative technologies, with a view to respecting the terroir, make Nodo d'Amore a powerful, intriguing and captivating wine. It has a bright ruby red colour and the on the nose it evokes floral and fruity aromas, reminiscent of withered flowers and spices, with an undertone of balsamic nuances. On the palate it is fresh, yet enveloping, intense and with gentle tannins. It goes well with red meats, roasts and game, but also with mature cheeses.
