TASTING NOTES

The Rose of the Friars is a rosé wine Riviera del Garda Classico DOC, consisting of a blend of Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera. The Garda area, famous for Lugana, is also suitable for the production of fine rose wines, savory and elegant. A rosé with a white soul, fresh and fun. The wine is processed in a very simple but careful, using only steel tanks trying to bring in the bottle a delicate wine with scents of currant and rose, light and tasty palate. A good sip to play on cold cuts, white meat or a caprese salad with ripe tomato and a sprinkling of oregano. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 10/12 ºC.

Ca' dei Frati

Cantina Ca' dei Frati is one of the main wine landmarks in the Lake Garda area, an estate that has been producing excellent quality wines since 1939. It was born from the passion of the Dal Cero family, which was able to combine skill and love for the terroir. The Lugana area of Sirmione, where countless rows of vines belonging to Ca' dei Frati now thrive, was once known as the place of monks, as it belonged to the bishop's curia. Since the first Lugana, the company has succeeded in creating truly unique bottles: from a fine white wine with great elegance to the sparkling version. Ca' dei Frati wines, an exceptional example of Lombardy wines, are the result of meticulous study of the land and vines, the secrets of which have been handed down for four generations. Safeguarding the raw material is the main aim of the entire production process, refined from year to year through innovative and up-to-date techniques, skilfully balanced with decades-long tradition.
