Col Vetoraz sorge sulla sommità delle colline di Cartizze, nel cuore della zona più vocata di Valdobbiadene, dove i ripidi pendii prealpini riparano le vigne dai venti freddi e creano un anfiteatro naturale perfetto per la viticoltura e la produzione di vini di qualità. È il 1993 quando Francesco Miotto prende le redini della preesistente azienda di famiglia, per dare vita a Col Vetoraz, realtà in grado di affermarsi nel corso di qualche anno come una delle più importanti case spumantistiche a produrre Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG. Il Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze di Col Vetoraz è una bollicina prodotta con uve Glera, vinificate con Metodo Charmat, di grande bevibilità e piacevolezza, capace di esprimere il meglio di una delle zone più vocate ed esclusive dell’intera Denominazione. Nel calice si presenta di colore giallo paglierino, con una bollicina fine e persistente. Al naso spiccano note floreali di glicine e fiori di campo, con sensazioni fruttate di pera e scorza di limone. Il sorso è caratterizzato da una bella morbidezza e cremosità che vengono bilanciate da tanta freschezza e sapidità. Ideale come vino da aperitivo, questo Prosecco si abbina perfettamente a salumi e finger food. Per apprezzarne appieno lo stile, questo vino va servito ad una temperatura di servizio di 8/10°C. On the highest point of the Cartizze hill, in the heart of the Vadobbiadene DOCG area, stands the Col Vetoraz winery. Its strategic position, at an altitude of almost 400 metres, offers not only enchanting scenery but also, and most importantly, wonderfully fertile land that is perfect for the production of high-quality Veneto wines. The history of this winery is very interesting and has remote origins. Since the first half of the 19th century, the Miotto family has been involved in the development of vine-growing (Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze Superiore), maintaining the traditions of the time. Over time, thanks also to innovations, the family has been able to keep itself refreshed and keep up with the times without losing any of its history. Respect for the oldest techniques, scrupulous production methods and great care for the vineyards and the production of the grand cuvées has enabled the company to create wines of excellence, obtaining all kinds of recognition, including five Grand Gold Medals at the Vinitaly Competition.
