Maison Deutz was founded in 1838 in Aÿ, managed by William Deutz and Pierre Geldermann. A winery with history, a cuvée of elegance and tradition. Deutz’s Champagne Brut Classic is the winery’s most representative label, with a great balance and fine, velvety perlage. In its simplicity and pleasantness, it embodies the characteristics of the terroir perfectly, expressing the true essence of Champagne. It is produced from three distinctive grape varieties of the Champagne area: 34% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir, 33% Meunier. This Cuvée represents the freshness of the Chardonnay combined with the fruity aromas of the Pinot Noir and the structure of the Meunier, whose grapes are selected from the different estate crus owned in Aÿ. The must ferments in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation for greater protein stability. A 36 month maturation on the lees in the bottle completes the production process, ensuring a complete and mature aromatic expression. In the glass it has a beautiful intense golden colour, enhanced by abundant perlage. Soft, mineral aromas on the nose with fruity and floral notes and small hints of pastries and breads. The palate opens with a vibrant freshness and roundness, pleasant and crisp. Ideal for sharing on special occasions, or paired with delicate fish dishes.
