La Castellina

The La Castellina winery is a small and important winery in the morainic hills, now a reference point for wine growing and production in Lombardy. It is located in the upper part of the province of Mantua, a short stroll from Lake Garda. Here, in a fairy-tale setting, the highest quality vineyards are cultivated and grown, with full respect for the land and the surrounding nature, following the strict dictates of organic and sustainable viticulture to bring out the full character of the region. The winery is a small jewel of absolute excellence in the production of high-quality Lombardy wines that will allow you to discover the most authentic side of this land in a glass. The company mainly grows chardonnay, marzemino and merlot grapes, thanks to its strategic location with south-east and south-west exposure. The influence of the Lake Garda currents and the unique characteristics of the moraine terrain ensure optimal ripening of the grapes, which are characterised by their intense aromatic character.
