Protagonista della storia di Fumane e della Valpolicella Classica, la Famiglia Allegrini si è da sempre impegnata a diventare custode dei territori in cui opera, della cultura e delle tradizioni. Grazie a importanti innovazioni in ambito viticolo ed enologico, con uno sguardo sempre orientato alla storia della vite e del vino, Allegrini riesce bottiglia dopo bottiglia, annata dopo annata, a valorizzare i suoi 150 ettari di vigneti che danno alla luce vini unici e di prestigio, risultato del raffinato stile aziendale e della vendemmia delle uve che crescono esclusivamente nei terreni di famiglia. Quando nel 1979 Giovanni Allegrini, mosso da un profondo amore per la sua Valpolicella, decise di piantare sulla sommità de La Grola solo uva Corvina, non immaginava lo straordinario successo che questo vino avrebbe raggiunto. La viticoltura altamente qualitativa e il microclima perfetto di questo Altopiano di circa 3 ettari, abbagliante per il candore delle pietre calcaree, consegnano le uve migliori che la Valpolicella può dare, per questo straordinario cru La Poja, icona della produzione Allegrini. Il vino matura in barriques nuove d’Allier per 20 mesi e per 8 mesi in grandi botti di Slavonia e affina per 10 mesi in bottiglia. Questo vino rosso veneto, alla vista si presenta di color rubino intenso, al naso ci regala note fruttate, speziate, tostate e balsamiche. Al palato è un'esplosione di sapori, fresco e minerale. Adatto ad occasioni importanti, si sposa in maniera perfetta con carni rosse o selvaggina. Per apprezzarne appieno lo stile, La Poja va servito ad una temperatura di servizio di 16/18°C.
