TASTING NOTES

Terre Siciliane Syrah Dei Respiri is a simple but not obvious red wine, which ferments in steel. Ruby red color with violet reflections, intense and brilliant. The nose reveals hints of blackberry and blueberry, with the unmistakable peppery note on the finish. Fresh and with a vegetal finish. Syrah di Baglio Oro is perfect with red meats but also appetizers and dishes based on eggplant and mushrooms. Try it with chicken wings and burgers. THE WINERY

Baglio Oro

The company Baglio Oro was born from the tenacity of Don Pino, a man of other times who handed down to his son Francesco and his son-in-law Michele the love for the land and for wine. In 2008 a dream comes true: the renovation of the old farms in a modern winery where technology and tradition come together to capture the energy and warmth of the land of Marsala. The winery is surrounded by 100 hectares of vineyards that have always belonged to the family. A wise work carried out in the vineyard by expert hands, who work with ancient gestures and with the same care of the past, in a combination of tradition and innovation. Every stage, from the vineyard to the winery, is followed very carefully in all stages of production, always aiming at the constant search for excellence, preserving aromas and flavors of each bunch, producing Sicilian wines with an extraordinary organoleptic impact. In the renovation project the tuff walls have been preserved, creating a thermo-conditioned environment and linked to the tradition of the past.
