TASTING NOTES

La Morandina, an estate located in the Langhe, is a winery that works according to tradition (small wooden barrels) and modernity (stainless steel tanks), in order to achieve more expressions of Muscat in its wines. The 'Collina Morandini' winery is located at an altitude of 280 to 400 metres above sea level giving its wines freshness, bouquet and aromatic herb aromas. In addition to Muscat it also produces Barbaresco, Barbera d'Asti and Chardonnay. Moscato D'asti DOCG bricco del sole della Morandina is a Piedmontese wine made from 100% Moscato bianco grapes. Charmat method that ferments in tanks for about a month, to give vibrancy and freshness to the wine. The wine has a beautiful straw yellow colour, and on the nose emerges this important aromaticity with hints of tropical fruit, lychee and a yellow peach, and finally herbs, sage. On the palate it is pleasant, fresh and savoury with a slight bitter finish and an invigorating sparkle. Ideal for Sunday lunch, it goes very well with desserts. Read more Read less
