TASTING NOTES

Lugana Le Fornaci Riserva consists of 100% Turbiana grapes, which after manual harvesting and selection of the best bunches, are softly pressed whole bunch. It is then fermented for 10/12 days, 25% ages in French wood barrels and 75% in steel, both for 18 months. The wine is then blended and bottled for 6 months in the bottle. Brilliant gold reflections characterize this harmonious wine with intense and evolved aromas. The rich bouquet harmonizes the fresh and mineral notes with those of ripe yellow fruit and the rich aroma combines floral and citrus scents with delicate honey notes to an elegant vanilla and walnut aftertaste. It has a long wrapping finish, intriguing and persistent. To be enjoyed simply to enhance the flavors of Lake Garda: a crouton of bread with a few drops of EVO oil and scented with grated lemon peel, basil leaves and some olives. Its rich aroma suggests pairing with lake fish and pasta dishes. To fully appreciate the style, this Lugana Riserva must be served at a service temperature of 10/12 to C. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Tommasi

The Tommasi winery immediately distinguished itself in the Veneto region's wine panorama due to its great wine production, innovations in cultivation and the strong entrepreneurial sense of the founding family. An intuition that has always guided the most important choices, especially those related to the land to be cultivated, and that has led the company to its 195 hectares of vineyards. An important milestone, which the company nurtures and cultivates with love and dedication. Ninety of these hectares are linked to the production of precious Veneto red wines, thanks mainly to cultivation in the DOC areas of Verona and its surroundings. The rest is in the classic Valpolicella area, to which the family has always been very attached and which, even today, is cultivated with care and passion. A very strong bond unites the company to its land, capable of producing Veneto wines of the highest quality and rich in character, reflecting the unique style of the territory. Name and address of producer/distributor: Tommasi - via Ronchetto, 4, 37029 Pedemonte di Valpolicella (VR). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
