The Tommasi winery lovingly cultivates the history of wine, distinguishing itself between the Venetian wineries for a great production of wines and the strong entrepreneurial sense of the founding family. The company now has 195 hectares of vineyard owned, an important milestone, dedicating itself to the production of fine red wines. Le Fornaci Lugana Riserva is the perfect combination of vine and territory, and completes the project Le Fornaci that the Tommasi family promotes in homage to a region that is one of the most suitable in Italy: Lake Garda. Lugana Le Fornaci Riserva consists of 100% Turbiana grapes, which after manual harvesting and selection of the best bunches, are softly pressed whole bunch. It is then fermented for 10/12 days, 25% ages in French wood barrels and 75% in steel, both for 18 months. The wine is then blended and bottled for 6 months in the bottle. Brilliant gold reflections characterize this harmonious wine with intense and evolved aromas. The rich bouquet harmonizes the fresh and mineral notes with those of ripe yellow fruit and the rich aroma combines floral and citrus scents with delicate honey notes to an elegant vanilla and walnut aftertaste. It has a long wrapping finish, intriguing and persistent. To be enjoyed simply to enhance the flavors of Lake Garda: a crouton of bread with a few drops of EVO oil and scented with grated lemon peel, basil leaves and some olives. Its rich aroma suggests pairing with lake fish and pasta dishes. To fully appreciate the style, this Lugana Riserva must be served at a service temperature of 10/12 to C.
