Small cooperative winery in the Barbaresco area, one of the case studies regarding the production of exceptional quality by a social cooperative. Each glass of Barbaresco brings with it an extraordinary history of women and men made of fatigue, pride and satisfaction. Following the harvest, the grapes of Nebbiolo are vinified in red in cement tanks, with alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature, 20 days of maceration on the skins and complete malolactic fermentation. The subsequent phase of maturation of 6 months takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels. On the visual examination, Barbaresco’s Langhe Nebbiolo is presented to the glass with a transparent ruby red color with garnet reflections. The aroma is inviting in its intense aromas of ripe red fruits, white pepper and anise, supported by floral hints and aromatic herbs. The mouthfeel, balanced and tasty, reveals a slender freshness and ripe tannins, with a long and pleasing fruity finish. Its round and traditional character makes it suitable for everyday life, but able to impress in formal dinners. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
