TASTING NOTES

Picolit di Zorzettig is a small taste jewel: it is a traditionally contemporary expression of an ancient grape of Friuli, already loved by popes and emperors. Picolit has an amber color that fades into gold: the nose reveals aromas of pastry and aromas of tropical fruits and spices. The drying of the grapes removes more than a third of the quantity and the aging in barrique further increases the quality level of the product. Elegant and at the same time sweet by vocation, with the ability of the great sweet to leave the palate clean and savory. The nose is dominated by notes of honey, wild flowers, almond, vanilla and chestnut. Perfect sweet wine with blue cheeses or foie gras. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 20 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Annalisa Zorzettig

The history of the Zorzettig family in wine begins more than 100 years ago, on the hills of Spessa di Cividale in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, an ideal place for viticulture thanks to a unique terroir and microclimate, protected by the Alps from the cold currents of the north and kissed by the breezes of the Adriatic Sea. The family produces about 800 thousand bottles divided between autochthonous and international. Nature, authenticity, evolution and quality are the words that guide the thought and work of Annalisa Zorzettig, who took over the management of the homonymous family winery. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Annalisa Zorzettig - Strada di Sant'Anna, 37 - 33043 Spessa (UD). The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
