A true natural woman: this is how Arianna Occhipinti defines herself, who after finishing her studies in Viticulture and Enology decided to develop her project in her childhood land, Sicily. The Frappato di Arianna Occhipinti is made from 100% Frappato grapes, from vineyards of about 40 years located at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level, in an area with a warm and dry climate, typically Mediterranean. The grapes are destemmed and then macerated on the skins with spontaneous fermentation in 85 hl cement vats for 25 days with daily pumping over and fulling. Racking and aging in the same containers for 6 months and in Austrian oak barrels for 12 months. Frappato is presented to the glass with a bright and clear ruby red color, reveals to the nose a fragrant and refined bouquet, with aromas of violet, iris, raspberry, cherry, red currant, delicate spicy hints of pink pepper and nuances of aromatic herbs. Of medium structure, it has a crunchy and juicy fruit, wrapped by a fine and elegant tannic texture, which accompanies a harmonious, fresh and aromatic finish. It is the wine par excellence of Arianna, a wine that reflects its character and that tells the thread and sign of the territory of Vittoria. The perfect gift for the friend of the heart, which in the mouth will sound like a great "I love you". Excellent in combination with roast meat or with a first course with meat sauce. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
