A meeting of three generations. A family that has been producing wines for over fifty years as their only business. Inama farm aims to produce a variety of wines whose only common thread is that they reflect their place of origin and fully express the beauty of nature, disregarding the standards set by current trends. Located in San Bonifacio, on the border between the areas of Vicenza and Verona, Inama is renowned for producing Soave Classico, a wine made with the Garganega grape variety, an exceptional vine in this volcanic area that gives the wine a mineral scent and a particular flavour. Inama also makes a range of red wines, including Carminium, whose Carmenere vines are planted on land belonging to the Oratorio di San Lorenzo and are over 15 years old. Carmenere Colli Berici represents a more immediate and monovarietal approach, without neglecting complexity and finesse. The clays in the soil create a unique wine. The hand-picked grapes are gently destemmed and macerated, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel. The process ends with malolactic fermentation and ageing in first and second passage French oak barriques for 12 months. After a 4-month stainless steel passage, Carminium is bottled and ages in the bottle for at least 12 months before sale. Dark red colour with blue-violet reflections. Intense on the nose, with aromas of aromatic herbs and spices, dark fruit and velvety tannins. Recommended pairing with a mixed grill, roast pork or a platter of cured meats and cheeses.
