L’azienda Tommasi coltiva con amore la storia del vino, distinguendosi tra le realtà vitivinicole venete per una grande produzione di vini e il forte senso imprenditoriale della famiglia fondatrice. L'azienda conta oggi 195 ettari di vigneto di proprietà, un traguardo importante, dedicandosi alla produzione di vini rossi pregiati. Il Valpolicella Classico Superiore di Tommasi è il vino che racconta la storia della regione e non possiamo che essere d'accordo. Elegante è l'aggettivo che meglio descrive il carattere del Rafael. Un vino inconfondibile e strettamente legato alla storia della famiglia Tommasi. I vini della Valpolicella richiedono grande abilità del vignaiolo per trovare il perfetto equilibrio tra le diverse uve autoctone che lo compongono: in questo caso 60% Corvina, 25% Rondinella e 15% Molinara. A seguito della macerazione e fermentazione, il Valpolicella Superiore Rafael viene affinato per 15 mesi in botti di rovere di Slavonia. Nel calice si presenta di un rosso rubino brillante che si apre con raffinata intensità su toni floreali e fruttati con la ciliegia matura in evidenza. Al palato è sottile e vellutato e colpisce per la gustosa persistenza e freschezza del frutto che lo rende incredibilmente elegante.
