TASTING NOTES

Tradizione e famiglia: sono queste le due parole chiave che riassumono la visione dell’Azienda Vinicola Monte Santoccio. L’area, incastonata tra il lago di Garda ed i monti della Lessinia, ha una lunga tradizione di vini rossi, ed è celebre soprattutto per il passito da uve rosse, il Recioto. Il Valpolicella Classico di Monte Santoccio è un rosso veneto che più rispecchia la tradizione: prodotto con uve Corvina, Corvinone, Molinara e Rondinella che, dopo una vendemmia manuale rigorosa, vengono pressate e dopo la fermentazione fanno un breve passaggio in acciaio. Nel calice si presenta di un bel rosso rubino vivace e con riflessi violacei. Al naso è un’esplosione di freschezza e frutti rossi, sensazione che si ripresenta durante la beva. Ottimo vino per la convivialità e per la quotidianità, suggeriamo il consumo come vino da aperitivo oppure in abbinamento a salumi e formaggi non troppo stagionati. Read more Read less
