Di proprietà dei Marchesi Antinori, la cantina pugliese Tormaresca è una realtà produttiva coordinata con precisione dalla famiglia toscana, localizzata nell’area DOC Castel del Monte. I vigneti crescono a circa 300 metri s.l.m. in piena Murgia, un’area caratterizzata da condizioni climatiche e ambientali particolari. Chardonnay IGT Puglia è costituito da uve 100% Chardonnay. Dopo una pigiatura soffice, il mosto viene raffreddato per ottenere un illimpidimento naturale. La fermentazione alcolica avviene in serbatoi di acciaio inox termo-condizionati in modo da esaltare le componenti aromatiche del vitigno. Tormaresca Chardonnay prosegue poi un affinamento in acciaio, fino al momento dell’imbottigliamento. Al calice si presenta di un colore giallo paglierino con riflessi verdognoli. Il primo assaggio dona note di frutta bianca, mela e ananas, in armonia con sensazioni agrumate di fiori di arancio e gelsomino. Al palato è fragrante, sapido e con una freschezza equilibrata. The Cantina Tormaresca winery is divided into two main estates, located in two of the most important wine-growing areas of Puglia. The first, Tenuta Bocca di Lupo, is located in the D.O.C. zone of Castel del Monte, in the heart of the Bari Murgia. The second, Masseria Maìme, is located in the Salento area. In both cases, the hectares are cultivated with indigenous grapes, fully respecting the unique characteristics of the land and its precious minerals. Painstaking and constant work has enabled the company to pursue an ambitious project, in full compliance with organic and sustainable viticulture: to produce Apulian wines that best represent the land of origin.
