Since its foundation at the end of the 19th century, Cantina Jermann's mission has been to enhance the ancient winegrowing traditions of the Friulian countryside. Knowledge of cultivation was handed down from generation to generation until the 1970s, when the founder's disciple was able to combine the study of the most modern techniques with his own ingenious inventiveness. Genius and unruliness, combined with passion and study, has taken the company to the top of the Italian and world wine scene. Another feature of the winery's process is the focus on organic and sustainable viticulture, to reconcile the art of viticulture with respect for the land and the vine times. The company talks to the world every day, but the focus always remains on the concrete things that make a wine great, including the oldest traditions.
