Tra l'altitudine e i terreni lavici dell'Etna, nasce l'Etna Bianco dell'azienda Planeta, una giovane cantina che dal 1995 ha saputo ben presto posizionarsi tra le realtà vinicole più importanti della Sicilia. Siamo nei vigneti della tenuta Feudo di Mezzo un vero e proprio giardino di pietra, una tra le sei tenute che l'azienda possiede, atte a identificare ben sei diverse zone dell'isola, seguendo il progetto "Planeta Terra" che ha permesso a Planeta di intraprendere un percorso di sostenibilità dalla produzione del vino all'arrivo sulle nostre tavole. Il Carricante o meglio conosciuto come Etna Bianco, è un vitigno autoctono proprio di questa zona, e viene vinificato in purezza in tutta la sua mineralità ed espressività: qui l'ambiente pedoclimatico è un susseguirsi di brezze, sbalzi termici, altitudini che arrivano fino a 700 mt slm e terroir che si mescolano e si alternano creando Un microclima unico al mondo. Etna Bianco è un vino generoso, illumina il calice con il suo giallo dorato dai caldi riflessi. Deciso al naso: mineralità, note agrumate e burrose. All'assaggio è un trampolino di lancio: morbidezza, freschezza e mineralità che lo rendono perfetto con piatti a base di pesce e formaggi freschi. The Planeta winery has been producing wines for generations. The family's tradition and passion has been passed down for decades, and is still the main engine that connects each stage of processing. The company boasts six different estates located in six different parts of Sicily, each of which is committed to creating Sicilian wines of the highest quality. The Ulmo estate is located in Sambuca di Sicilia, while the processing of the Dispensa estate takes place in Menfi. The Dorilli winery is located in Vittoria, while Buonivini operates in Noto. Feudo di Mezzo stands out against Etna, in Castiglione di Sicilia, while the work of La Baronia remains in the Capo Milazzo area. A very diverse production, therefore, capable of creating multi-faceted wines. The total area of vineyards exceeds three hundred hectares, all of which are raised with the utmost care and with full respect for the differences of individual territories. This is a long and thorough work, requiring precision and great knowledge of the raw material and soil characteristics.
