Lamole di Lamole is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. Chianti Classico is one of the most famous and significant places in Italy for the production of great Tuscan red wines. The company, which since 1993 is part of the Santa Margherita group, with about 57 hectares of vineyards where, in addition to Sangiovese, have been planted over time both native vines such as Canaiolo, Malvasia Nera and Trebbiano Toscano (used only for Vin Santo) International varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Alicante. The Chianti Classico DOCG Gran selezione Vigneto di Campolungo di Lamole di Lamole is produced with a single vineyard named Campolungo, a plot facing southwest between 420 and 576 meters above sea level. It is produced with Sangiovese 85%, Cabernet Sauvignon 15% and aged for 30 months in large cask. The wine has a beautiful intense ruby red color, on the nose the floral note is important, with notes of iris, a balsamic note, a spice and a tobacco finish. The taste is elegant, with a strong freshness, and an imposing but classy tannins. This red wine is ideal for a Sunday lunch, it goes well with red meat, a Florentine steak. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 14/16 ºC.
