TASTING NOTES

Akenta Rosé is made from Cagnulari grapes, carefully selected and harvested by hand, pressed after 6 hours of contact with the skins and sparkling in autoclave at low temperature, then aged on the lees for 6 months. Through this process the yeasts enhance the fruity and delicately spicy aromas, allowing the formation of a fine and persistent perlage. To the glass Akenta Rosé has a bright pink color with copper reflections. The nose is complex, fruity and with spicy notes of bread crust and powder on the finish. On the palate Akenta Rosé is fruity, fresh and mineral. Excellent as an aperitif and ideal to accompany all first courses based on fish, seafood and shellfish. The winery Santa Maria La Palma has a story that tells the valuable lessons of fatigue and daily work, a story that began in 1946 in the grounds of the Nurra, reclaimed and delivered to farmers following the Agrarian Reform that affected Sardinia immediately after the war.
