Situata nel cuore delle campagne piemontesi, l’azienda Vajra gode di un microclima particolare, in un terreno argilloso, dedicato da sempre ad una agricoltura sostenibile. Tra i Cru del Barolo, il Bricco delle Viole è uno di quelli più fortunati. Bricco delle Viole nasce dai vigneti più antichi di Vajra localizzati nella parte più alta del Comune di Barolo, dove le Alpi sembrano molto vicine e dove il clima è mite. Le uve di Nebbiolo per la creazione di questa riserva sono vendemmiate per ultime, con il rischio di avere una trama aromatica notevole e una finezza unica. Le note di ciliegia sotto spirito si fondono lentamente con le bacche, violette e rose appassite. Al calice rosso rubino brillante, all’assaggio rivela tutta la sua complessità e struttura con una buona acidità e un tannino morbido e setoso.
