Spinetta is a company of great Italian prestige that has founded its roots in two important Italian regions, Piedmont and Tuscany. From the eighties the company began to work also with red berried grapes: Barbera, Barbaresco and Nebbiolo, respecting the terroir and carefully working some cru to produce excellent Piedmontese red wines. The project then continues in the 2000s in Tuscany with Casanova della Spinetta, growing Sangiovese. The Barbaresco DOCG Vigneto Bordini di La Spinetta is a wine produced in a single vineyard particularly sandy, which gives the wine delicate and fresh aromas, a wine to be appreciated in his youth. Produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and aged for 20 months in French oak barrels. It is a red wine with a brilliant garnet, with fresh aromas of rose and a very fragrant red berry fruit. The palate is immediate, it wraps and revives the drink, the tannins are not aggressive, but pleasant. A fresh and elegant wine, ideal for Sunday lunch that goes very well with red meat. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 18/20 ºC.
