TASTING NOTES

La versione del Lagrein di Kettmeir è piacevolmente snella, con l’obiettivo di creare un vino pronto per una degustazione immediata, piacevole, lontano dalle versioni troppo corpose che altri attribuiscono al prestigioso vitigno altoatesino. Le uve vengono coltivate a bassa quota, fra i due e i 300 metri di altitudine. Dopo la vendemmia, la macerazione delle bucce dura una decina di giorni, dopodiché ha luogo la fase di affinamento, lunga un semestre, in cui il vino è diviso fra botte grande e acciaio, per poi essere assemblato prima dell’imbottigliamento. Nel calice il vino rosso si presenta col suo tipico colore rubino carico, impenetrabile, venato da affascinanti riflessi violacei. Il naso è coerente, intenso, denso di frutta rossa in confettura e sentori floreali di viola. La risultante è un sorso pieno, ben strutturato e persistente, poggiato su una visibile morbidezza.
