Passion, this is the keyword that has allowed, since 1875, to hand down the immense pleasure of being producers of something that gives joy and happiness: wine.
Barboglio De Gaioncelli winery was born in the building of the same name and since 2010 a restaurant has been created in what was the tenant farming area.
There are 30 hectares of vines, 90.000 bottles produces, 10 types of wine. The Franciacorta policy document indicates the guidelines for the production of wines: the harvest in cases of 16 kg maximum, the refinement in bottles, the use of certain vine varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot nero and Pinot bianco) etc.
With these rigorous guidelines and exploiting their knowledge of their vineyards, the winery expresses its philosophy: fineness and elegance, genuine and quaffable wines, that find their greatest expression in reserve wines.
